American University charges $242 million or $18,616 per student for its mandatory diversity "inclusion" program excluding white males
Diversity has a cost.
At American University (AU) in the District of Columbia, its President Sylvia Mathews Burwell said her school’s first “step in the journey” is:
$60 million this year
$61 million next year and
“undetermined” for years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
American University’s endowment is $642 million, according to its Treasurer and V.P. Douglas Kudravetz, CFP.

President Barack Obama and Sylvia Mathews Burwell
Before becoming President of American University, Burwell was Secretary of Health and Human Services. She was in charge of implementing Obamacare.
Before that, Burwell was Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under President Barack Obama in 2013-2014.
Burwell began working for President Bill Clinton in 1992 as a Special Assistant under her maiden name “Mathews”.
For picking up garbage in the suicide/murder case of Vince Foster, President Burwell went from aide to Chief of Staff of the U.S. Treasury for President Bill Clinton in 1993.
Burwell has a Bachelor’s degree. She has no experience working for a university. She is American University’s first woman president.

Student government at American University will vote later this month to reverse an increase in their student fee of $11.50 per semester.
Students start voting Oct. 22 at 12 p.m. It lasts two days. Vote is done on computer.
