Elias’ law office planted this story about the U.S. Postal Service’s new “Election Mail Strike Team”.
Marti Johnson of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), was unable to confirm a new USPS Division called an “Election Mail Strike Team”.
The Post Office has no record of it on their public website either.
Marti Johnson is their Sr. Public Relations, Representative for Elections and Political Mail.
This fake story was planted by the Marc Elias law firm in thousands of media outlets last week starting with the:

Since the next federal election is on Nov. 8th, the cost is doubled by most media markets.
