The Internal Affairs' report of alleged misconduct by Peter Kadzik and James Comey (former FBI Director) during Donald J. Trump's Campaign for President will be released as soon as next week.

Michael Horowitz is in charge of the Internal Investigation. He runs the Office of Inspector General. It has 450 employees, mostly attorneys. Their job is to investigate allegations of wrongdoing by the FBI and Justice Department.

Kadzik is best friends with John Podesta. Podesta is former Campaign Chairman for the Hillary Clinton Campaign for President. Podesta also lead the Obama White House transition effort.

Podesta recommended people who should work for President Barack Obama in cabinet positions.

Podesta recommended that a “fantastic lawyer” who “kept me out of jail” be appointed to the Justice Department.

According to his resume still posted on the Justice Department web site, Kadzik is an attorney who "led the successful effort to confirm Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and Deputy Attorney General Sally Q. Yates."

Kadzik's resume also says he "responds to Congressional inquiries and oversight requests". Other duties include preparing Justice "Department witnesses for testimony before Congressional hearings".

Kadzik was also an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia. He also worked as an attorney for 30 years with Dickstein Shapiro, a law firm specializing in lobbying.

Kadzik specialized in "Congressional Investigations, representation of clients on matters involving state attorneys general, and representation of various non-profit organizations."

Kadzik now works for a private law firm called Venable LLC. It has 675 attorneys in eight cities including Washington, D.C.

Kadzik and John Podesta were classmates at Georgetown Law School in the 1970s. John Podesta was in charge of Hillary Clinton's Campaign for President.

In leaked emails released by Wikileaks, Kadzik and Podesta celebrated birthdays together. Kadzik’s son also emailed Podesta asking for a job in the Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign. The Campaign said Kadzik's son was never hired.

Kadzik represented Podesta during the Monica Lewinsky investigation. It was alleged that President Bill Clinton had sex with Lewinsky in the White House.

At the time, Podesta was President Clinton's Chief of Staff.

Through Podesta, Kadzik asked that his client, Marc Rich, be pardoned by President Bill Clinton. At the time, Podesta was President Clinton's Chief of Staff.  Rich's pardon was approved by President Clinton on his last day in office.

Internal Affairs has also accused Kadzik of allowing Justice Department employees to illegally leak top secret information to the public.

It is also alleged that Kadzik was "influenced by improper considerations" by allowing and releasing FBI documents to the public on October 30th and November 1st, 2016.

Horowitz also said his Internal Affairs department "will consider including other issues that may arise during the course of the review."

Jeff Sessions, who heads the Justice Department, said "there are 27 open investigations" of his department leaking information. Sessions said these leaks are "a felony".
