This is the report filed by the Union Pacific Railroad on May 10th of the missing 30 tons of ammonium nitrate:

AMMONIUM NITRATE PRILL RELEASED FROM A RAIL CAR DUE TO AN UNKNOWN CAUSE AT THIS TIME.  CALLER STATES THE RAIL CAR LEFT FROM THEIR FACILITY IN CHEYENNE, WY AND ARRIVED IN SALTDALE, CA WHERE THEY DISCOVERED THE RAIL CAR WAS EMPTY.  THE CAR WAS CARRYING AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF AMMONIUM NITRATE BUT THE CALLER STATES THE ESTIMATED LOSS AMOUNT IS APPROX. 60,000 POUNDS.  EXACT LOCATION WHERE THE RELEASE TOOK PLACE IS UNKNOWN BUT THE RELEASE POSSIBLY OCCURRED WHILE IT WAS IN TRANSIT FROM WY TO CA.  CALLER DOES NOT KNOW THE TRAIN NUMBER THAT THE RAIL CAR WAS A PART OF DURING THE TRANSIT.  THEY ORIGINALLY SHIPPED THE RAIL CAR FROM WY ON 12-APR-2023.  CALLER DESCRIBED THE MATERIAL AS A SOLID FERTILIZER.

According to their General Counsel, Scott Bell, Dyno Nobel, never filed a report with the EPA regarding the above incident.
