WHO cuts its COVID isolation “mandates”

Isolation is no longer recommended for people who have tested negative for COVID-19, according to new guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday.

Instead of calling their policies “mandates,” WHO calls them “recommendations” or “guidelines.”

However, “masks continue to be a key tool against COVID-19”, said WHO’s press release imaged below.

WHO’s announcement was released again yesterday to increase public awareness.

It took WHO over a year to catch up with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).

The same guidelines were issued on Dec. 21st. 2021 by the CDC.
