He is a Federal District Judge in Houston, Texas.

Judge Hoyt anticipates sending two people to prison with a hefty million-dollar fine tomorrow at 9 a.m. for “contempt of court”.

In a non-criminal case for money damages of defamation.

The parties suing for a million dollars?

  • Konnech Inc., a China-based company selling voting machine systems with subsidiaries in Michigan, San Francisco, and Los Angeles

  • Jianwei “Eugene Wei” Yu, Konnech’s CEO

How long will the sentence be?

From zero days until Hoyt says they can go.

According to his three-page ruling imaged above.

It is dated Oct. 17th.

Catherine Englebrecht and Gregg Phillips

Their crime?

They told the truth about Konnech:

Judge Hoyt didn’t believe Catherine and Gregg.

However, Eric V. Neff did.

He is a Prosecutor in Los Angeles County, California.

Neff’s investigation resulted in the arrest of Jianwei “Eugene” Yu.

The charge?

Embezzling $2,645,000 in public funds from Los Angeles County.

The LA Commissioners bought election software from Yu’s company based in China, Konnech (pronounced connect).

Their contract said that data was to be stored in-house in LA.

Instead, it was sent to servers in Wuhan, China.

Yu’s arraignment and plea hearing are on Nov. 17th.

He was arrested by Ingham County Deputies as Yu was fleeing the country from the Lansing, Michigan airport.

Judge Donald Allen of Ingham County, Mason, Michigan called Yu “a flight risk”.

Allen set a bond for Yu at a million dollars.

The charge?

“Fugitive from justice”.

Konnech closed its headquarters in E. Lansing, Michigan last week.

This forfeits their right to sue in the U.S.

Yet Judge Hoyt has failed to dismiss the case for lack of standing or the right to sue.
