Maria Butina (above)

Today’s hearing is rescheduled for tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m.

Maria Butina will plead guilty Wednesday to being a Russian spy for “failing to register as a foreign (non-U.S.) agent”.

In effect, she is taking the rap for 69 other classmates at American University (AU) who did the same thing.

The university was ordered to identify other classmates of Maria Butina by next Monday at 2 p.m. by District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan.

Butina’s guilty plea closes the case.

Pictures with names of her classmates are no longer needed by the court. They will remain undisclosed.

Pacer is the official record of the U.S. Federal Courts

Miss Butina has been in an isolation cell since her arrest on July 16th.

It was a week after she was graduated from American University with a Bachelor’s degree in cyber security.

Terms of Miss Butina’s plea deal and future detention will be detailed in federal court on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Judge Chutkan’s Courtroom Nine.
