Mark Hazelwood was former President of Flying Pilot J.

He was right-hand man to owner, Jimmy Haslam.

Haslam owns the Cleveland Browns, a professional football team.

The soonest an appeal hearing can be scheduled is Oct. 14th.

It could be delayed even longer.

Hazelwood was sentenced to 12 and a half years in jail for stealing $10,405,836 from Pilot’s customers.

Hazelwood is under home custody.

The Judge called him a “flight risk”.

Hazelwood had to sell his plane and boat as part of his sentence.

The court said Mark had a net worth of $40 million.

Once Hazelwood’s appeal is over, prosecutors anticipate charging 25 more persons in the Pilot J criminal conspiracy.

The indictments were sealed in August.

According to a court supervised report written by Kraft CPAs, 42 staffers and key executives of Pilot Flying J's Sales Division were involved in stealing $134 million from Pilot's customers over an eight-year period.

Jimmy Haslam’s attorneys anticipate that their client will be charged.
