NATO takes over control of the Pentagon

French Air Force Gen. Philippe Lavigne, Commands NATO and the U.S. Department of Defense.
Lavigne is in a white shirt and green tie in the photo above.
Navy Adm. Christopher Grady, the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reports to him.
Lavigne's command is based in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Pentagon surrendered control of the Norfolk Naval Base on July 15th, 2021.
