Preston introduced David Keene, then the NRA’s president, to a Russian Senator, Alexander Torshin in 2011.
Preston is a Nashville attorney fluent in Russian. He has worked for Torshin for 15 years.
Preston’s law firm has represented Russian business interests since 1984.
Torshin became head of Russia’s Federal Reserve on Jan. 20th, 2015. He retired Nov. 30th last year and lives in Moscow.
Torshin will be arrested in the U.S.
On Nov. 2nd, 2013 Torshin was a Russian Senator in the same political party as President Vladimir Putin.
