Capitol guard to pay balance of $11.4 million contract to caterer who served troops raw chicken, metal shavings, and moldy oranges
Maria Stagliano (above), the spokesman for the caterer, Sardi’s
Feathers were in the food too.
The balance of the $11,442,500 food contract is $3,388,800.
It extends through March 21st.
The caterer, Sardi’s Catering, never:
apologized
offered to replace the spoiled food
refund money
Or pay the Michigan National Guard troops:
$600 each to replace the food they bought out-of-pocket
for hospital bills of the 50 soldiers who got sick from Sardi’s food
The Army National Guard said they will continue to pay Sardi’s Catering.

Nothing has been done to correct the problem.
Congress tried.

So did the Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer.
Sardi’s Catering, the guard’s food provider, has said they are blameless.
As payback for supporting Joe Biden.
"No cases of foodborne illness can be directly tied to this vendor," said Maria Stagliano.

Levick also has difficulty keeping key people.
He is nasty to his employees, according to people named in this story:
Miss Maria was graduated from the University of Georgia less than two years ago.
She got the catering assignment.
Rather than her boss.
