State laws prevent schools from allowing employees to conceal carry guns on campus

Gov. Jerry Brown of California signed a law Saturday that prevents school administrators from deciding whether their employees with concealed weapon permits can bring guns on campus. It becomes law Jan. 1st.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) opposed the bill and noted, "There have been no shootings involving California school employees who brought guns to campuses".

However, do criminals have a duty to obey the same law?

Also, in far too many cases, school "police" are "school liaison" or security officers who can only respond to shootings rather than prevent them.

And for some, whenever any gun murder occurs, the only answer is more gun laws.
