Still no decision in Hazelwood's appeal

Even though the case was argued in the Sixth Federal District Court in Cincinnati, Ohio on Feb. 6th.

Mark Hazelwood was the former right-hand-man to Jimmy Haslam, owner of the Cleveland Browns and Flying Pilot J.

Hazelwood’s photo is at the top of this story.

Pilot admitted its Sales Department kept fake rebate records in order to steal customer refunds.

The majority of the Sales team were fired.

And found guilty in Pilot’s criminal conspiracy.

So far it is 17 persons.

Hazelwood appealed.

If he wins, his case is retried in the same court and judge.

Judge Curtis L. Collier.

Details of the Feb. 6th hearing is in the next link.

It includes audio of the hour long legal arguments.

Prosecutors are in no rush to file charges against other co-conspirators in the Pilot conspiracy.

Because many defendants pled guilty to conspiracy, the Prosecutors’ filing deadline to file charges against new defendants was extended.

To April 15th, 2023.

Jimmy Haslam is their target.

The Haslam family has anticipated it.

Jimmy’s wife, Dee, has been running the Cleveland Browns, a professional football team in the NFL.
