For stealing $10,405,836 from customers of Pilot Flying J, Mark Hazelwood was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison. He was former President and right-hand man of Jimmy Haslam, Pilot’s CEO and owner of the pro football team, Cleveland Browns.

Former Pilot employees Scott “Scooter” Wombold and Heather Jones were sentenced today. Wombold was sentenced to six years. Jones got two years and nine months.

“Scooter” was Pilot’s former V.P. Jones used to be one of their Regional Account Representatives.

Mark Hazelwood prison sentence begins Nov. 26th.

His request to be imprisoned at the Montgomery Air Force Base in Alabama was approved by the court.
