President Donald J. Trump has had 84 of his judicial nominations approved.
The record is 329 under President Barack Obama. That amounts to 38 per cent of the federal judiciary.

A total of 49 have been nominated by Trump and are awaiting confirmation next week, according to Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). He Chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee.
“Total judges on the floor now 49,” said Grassley. “Lots of work to do. Senate should stay in session till all 49 judges are confirmed. Work comes before campaigning.”
President Trump is on pace to be able to fill 15 per cent of the federal court with his nominees.
There are 132 remaining federal judgeships out of 870.
The Senate confirmed 15 more yesterday.
