Probation ends in a death sentence for John Tufts co-conspirator
Mrs. Robin Renee Herring Longoria (above)
Robin Renee Longoria, 61, is one of three John Tufts co-conspirators, who are going to jail for:
selling children
bribing judges
falsifying adoption records
theft
money laundering
Both are from Ft. Worth, Texas.
Tufts was sentenced by an Ft. Worth jury to 51 years in jail for three counts of abusing his four-year-old daughter, Madison.
He adopted her from Poland.
John bought Madison from European Adoption Consultants (EAC) through their employees:
Robin Longoria
his mother, Debra Edwards Parris, 58
Margaret Cole Hughes, 74
All three have pleaded guilty to participating in a criminal conspiracy with Tufts.
The first to report to federal prison is Longoria.
Public court records filed yesterday reveal Longoria was ordered to surrender to U.S. Marshals in Ft. Worth, Texas by noon on May 11th.
Other media sources missed it.
Because they failed to read the court file.
Longoria’s attorney told her she would get probation.
Instead, Longoria got jail time of one year and one day.
In Texas, that is a death sentence.
Inmates kill child abusers and traffickers.
When the courts refuse to.
And Longoria knows it.
Robin’s only way out is to stop or postpone her incarceration by appealing.
Details are in this story:
Judge James Gwin promised Debra and Margaret jail time of up to ten years plus restitution.
Gwin is a District Judge in Cleveland, Ohio.
He has their sentencing hearings scheduled for:
May 27th at 9 a.m. for Margaret Cole Hughes
July 7th at 10 a.m. for Debra Edwards Parris
Tufts is serving a 51-year sentence for three counts of child abuse.
The Texas Court of Appeals took 71 pages to sustain the jury conviction of John Tufts.
Their ruling is linked below this image.
It contains details that defense attorneys were successful in keeping out of the public record on the Robin Longoria case.
