U.S. ranks eleventh in world in number of people killed in mass shootings

The U.S. ranks 11th in the number of people killed in mass shootings, according to the Crime Research Organization. The rankings are on a per capita basis:

Norway tops the list followed by Serbia, France, Macedonia, Albania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic. 

Also, there were 27 per cent more casualties from 2009 to 2015 per mass shooting incident in the European Union than in the U.S.

The picture at the top is from a mass murder in Tunisia resulting in 39 dead. The date of the event was Feb. 14th.
