President Trump hires Joe diGenova to fight D.C. Deep State swamp
President Donald J. Trump has hired Joe diGenova, former U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia, to fight Robert Mueller's investigations, according to Roger Stone.
"The President understands that this is a political proceeding," said Stone, referring to Mueller's role as Special Counsel. Stone has known the President for 40 years and was Trump's former Campaign Manager for President.
The hiring of diGenova as a private attorney for the President "is an excellent move by Donald Trump", said Stone.
Stone said he has known diGenova "for years", calling him "crafty", "combative", "smart as hell, and he knows the law".

A group of FBI and Justice Department people "were trying to frame Donald Trump of a falsely related crime", said diGenova.
