Poll shows 68 per cent of Trump's base supports medical marijuana
A poll released Monday shows that 68 per cent of President Donald J. Trump's base supports medical marijuana, according to Roger Stone, a personal friend of the President.
During his Campaign for President, Trump said he was "committed to honoring states' rights when it comes to marijuana legalization."
Stone said medical marijuana "is the logical and safer substitute for opioids".
Republican candidates for public office this year "would be foolish" to neglect medical marijuana as an issue. In a close race, said Stone, the candidate supporting medical marijuana will win.
