Kingsmead Arsenal has a satellite office in Hallandale Beach, Florida near Miami called Aquila Arms LLC.

This Florida arms dealer is located in the same building as Legion USA LLC. Their records say Yury Nicholas Lyamzenko is the owner.

Legion USA specializes in selling Russian arms to the U.S. market, according to their website. Legion and Aquila Arms are one of the same.

Aquila Arms LLC is registered on the Kalashnikov USA website as one of their dealers.

Kalashnikov USA is headquartered a half mile south of Hallandale Beach in Pompano Beach, Florida. Their top U.S. retailer is Legion USA LLC/Aquila Arms LLC.

Aquila Arms is a Class One dealer. Whelan is too. Legion USA is only a Class Three dealer. Whelan is necessary to handle the orders being sent to Russia because Legion is unable to legally buy them.

Aquila Arms’ purchases are legal too. Sending them from Miami to Russia is what started the illegal arms trading, according to the Justice Department.

  •  Brandon Jensen

  • Sorin Popa

  •  Oleg Martyanov

  • Mykola Mykhailenko

  •  Mykhaylo Kochetov

  •  Yury N. Lyamzenko

Lyamzenko owns a company in Russia called Legion LLC, a sporting good company.

The illegal arms scheme to Russia is described in a case already resulting in the conviction of an American citizen, Vladimir Novidomy. He is serving a 26 month jail sentence.

Valaimir Nevidomy was Dmitry Makarenko’s accomplice, according to the Justice Department and public court records. They were indicted together on June 16th, 2017 for an assortment of felonies including:

  • two counts of money laundering

  • conspiracy to export defense articles without a license

  • four counts of attempting to export defense articles without a license

  • maximum 20 year imprisonment

A list of some of the illegally exported military grade sniper gear is linked on Pages Nine and Ten of the indictment linked here:

Also in jail is Dmitry Makarenko. He was arrested one day after Paul Whelan was arrested in Moscow on Dec. 28th.

Dimitry became a fugitive on Jan. 3rd, 2018 to avoid a prison term of up to 20 years.

It was from charges filed June 16th, 2017.

Makarenko fled Miami to avoid two sentence hearings in U.S. District Court in Miami. The court ruled him to be a fugitive and closed his case. Dmitry is jailed in a Federal Detention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Items of sniper gear in the Justice Department indictment of Makarenko and Novidomy include night-vision scopes, rifles, large-rifle ammunition primers, and $30,000 night-vision goggles.

These items were shipped from Miami, Florida to Vladivosto, Russia, according to the Justice Department.

https://www.scribd.com/document/396930174/Dmitry-Makarenko-criminal-case-number-two-dated-Dec-31st-2018-court-records

Makarenko was born June 30th, 1973. He is a Russian citizen and needs an interpreter for court related events. He is a business partner with Russian President, Vladimir Putin in a Russian company called Arktayar, a general contractor. They build shopping centers in Vladivosto, Russia, Makarenko’s hometown.

Prosecutors have filed sealed indictments against new defendants for future use in the above case.

Nevidomy was sentenced to 26 months in jail on June 4th, 2018. Because he has been found guilty of criminal conspiracy, the Justice Department has ten years from the date of the indictment to prosecute additional co-conspirators.
