Furnell’s written reply to a request for Whelan’s whereabouts is imaged and dated today:
Paul Whelan, 58, a British citizen, pled guilty on Nov. 15th to five more sex crimes of boys aged 14 to 16. He received a sentence of four years, eight months.
Whelan is “a serial sex offender”, according to Chris Scott, a Lancashire, United Kingdom (UK) police constable.

Whelan was jailed in England for three years, three months in September 2017 for similar sex offences, according to a police press release dated Nov. 20th. Court records of this case no longer exist.
The new sentence was added to his old one totaling nearly eight years.

Paul Whelan was allegedly arrested in Russia on Dec. 28th for being a spy and recruiting Russian snipers for ten years.
Yesterday at a news conference, the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, said Whelan was no longer in Moscow.
The cover story for Whelan’s alleged Moscow visit was a friend’s wedding.
