Collin Sexton was the eighth pick in the first round in last month's NBA draft. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Avery Johnson was Sexton's coach at Alabama. He called Sexton "the fastest player he has ever seen".

Johnson coached in the NBA for 15 years.

Sexton is "a dynamic offensive player", said Johnson. "He can get his shot off against anybody.

"He’s going to be very competitive on the defensive end. I think he’s ready for the NBA.

"He has the potential to be a perennial All-Star.”
