Mark Hazelwood to testify against Jimmy Haslam?

JW Johnson is Ex.V.P. of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns (above). He is Jimmy & Dee Haslam’s son-in-law.

Mark Hazelwood was former President of Pilot Flying J.

He was the brains who made the company billions.

Through 750 truck stops.

Now it is over 1200.

Pilot sells more diesel fuel than any competitor.

It also sells fracking fuel.

Yesterday, the judge dismissed all charges against Hazelwood.

Even though a jury found Mark guilty of stealing $10,405,836 from his customers.

And he was sentenced to 12 and a half years in jail.

Pilot paid restitution.

Mark Hazelwood has nothing to lose by testifying against his former boss.

Jimmy Haslam.

Mark can be compelled to testify because he is no longer a defendant.

Even if it is against his will.

As a former company insider, Hazelwood may have become the prosecution’s star witness.

He can move out of the country to avoid testifying.

Or prosecutors miss the filing deadline of April 15th, 2023 and the case ends.

Up until then, Jimmy Haslam can be charged.

And so can other family members who used to work for Pilot.

They are Jimmy’s:

  • son-in-law, JW Johnson

  • wife, Dee

  • daughter, Whitney

Pilot has paid over a billion dollars to settle the dozens of lawsuits filed against them for fraud.

As the company’s CEO, Haslam admitted in writing that Pilot:

  • stole $56 million from 5600 customers

  • cooked the books to conceal the theft

  • paid a fine of $92 million

  • reimbursed the Justice Department for forensic auditing costs of $12 million

Only Pilot knows what they paid in attorneys fees.

Jimmy signed an admission of corporate guilt as Pilot's CEO imaged here dated July 10th, 2014:

Jimmy had to sell Pilot to billionaire Warren Buffett.

In order to buy the Cleveland Browns, a professional football team.

No one in his family got immunity.

The National Football League (NFL) knew about the charges against Pilot.

They allowed the Haslams to buy the Browns anyway.

On Oct. 25th, 2012.

Without objection.
